NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE

As reported earlier, member of the National Democratic Alliance’s governing board Garegin Chugaszyan and Dr. David Grigorian visited London during September 8-12 for a series of meetings organized by NDA’s public relations’ partners in Westminster.

The delegation met with members of the UK House of Lords, the House of Commons (including co-chairs of the UK-Armenia All-Party Parliamentary Group), religious freedom advocates, legal experts, senior media executives, think tanks associates, and influencers. The delegation also held a meeting with the Armenian community and NDA supporters in greater London area.

Discussions focused on internal and external challenges faced by Armenia but also on the conditions that would be required for the country to shake off the hypnosis it has found itself under during seven years of the Pashinyan rule, especially since 2020’s capitulation in Artsakh.

While discussing the August 8 Agreements signed in Washington, the delegation impressed upon their partners that for the Agreements to be successful they would require a partner in Armenia that has the trust of its people and understanding of Armenia’s needs and strategic priorities. The Pashinyan regime lacks public trust and capacity to understand the challenges faced by the country and is leading Armenia to yet another disaster.

They also briefed their partners about NDA’s work in Washington, which has focused on the excesses of Pashinyan’s autocratic rule, including its heinous campaign against the Armenian Apostolic Church, Armenia’s oldest institution and one of the key pillars of our identity.

Going forward, as a carrier of conservative ideology, the NDA will continue its work with conservative circles in London and Washington to advance a vision of Armenia that can play a significant role as an intermediary in the broader Middle East between nations, cultures, and religions, capitalizing on our deep traditions of mutual trust and our Christian faith.
