NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE

Dear Compatriots in Armenia and Friends of Armenia Abroad:

Developments in and around Armenia are entering into a decisive and final phase. The decision by the Pashinyan regime to take part in the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia in October is a decisive blow to Armenia’s sovereignty and our aspirations to live free of Russian totalitarian control and the threats posed by Azerbaijan and Turkey. This decision leaves no doubts whatsoever about the regime’s true allegiances to Putin’s Russia, something that the National Democratic Alliance has been warning citizens of Armenia and our partners abroad for years now.

Even Pashinyan’s ardent supporters realize the gravity of the situation he has created and the dangerousness of the direction that he continues to lead the Republic. His 6-year rule is a road reinforced by grand lies and deception, which has weakened Armenia’s sovereignty, defences, and the rule of law, resulted in loss of Armenia’s historic province of Artsakh, and left Armenia on a brink of another humiliating defeat in the hands of genocidal Aliyev regime and its Russian and Turkish masters and ultimately a humanitarian catastrophe. Every day of Pashinyan’s rule poses new threats for Armenia’s existence and a danger for regional balance, peace, and stability.

Armenia’s western partners should no longer tolerate the strong authoritarian tendencies of the Pashinyan regime, whereby major decisions pertaining Armenia’s safety and security are made by a small group of mostly unelected, poorly educated and inexperienced loyalists. People of Armenia deserve transparency and the type of decision-making that reflects the best interests of the Republic and its population. Armenia deserves to be a true democracy and to be governed well.

The regime’s mask is finally off. Time for citizens of Armenia and its true friends abroad to act is now.
