On September 25, Moran Global Strategies (MGS), the lobbying firm representing the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Washington, and some NDA supporters took part in fundraising activities for key members of the US House of Representatives.
Specifically, members of MGS and David Grigorian of NDA joined a fundraising luncheon for Congresswoman Dina Titus (D-NV), where they discussed an unfinished agenda on Armenia and how to bring it closer to the US.
Later in the day, former Congressman Jim Moran (D-VA) personally hosted a large fundraiser to support Congressman Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) bid to become a US Senator. The dinner was attended by a number of NDA supporters, who had an opportunity to impress upon the high-level attendees the challenges facing Armenia and that the overwhelming majority of those are caused by lack of leadership and poor governance.
It suffices to say that both Congresswoman Titus (a Greek-American) and Congressman Schiff (representing the largest Armenian-American community in the US) have been true champions of Armenian issues in Washington over many years and their offices have maintained close contact with NDA leaders and representatives in Washington since the inception of NDA’s lobbying effort there.
NDA is committed to working with our partners in the US capital and will continue to expand its outreach aimed at educating US policymakers about the true challenges facing Armenia and the ways to bring Armenia–under a new leadership–closer to the United States. We thank our lobbyists, Congressman Jim Moran and Elais Gerasoulis, for their tireless effort and look forward to continuing our fruitful cooperation for the benefit of Armenia, its people, and the Armenian Diaspora.
